Greenwich Library Announces July Business Programs

July is another busy month for business programs at Greenwich Library. Investors can learn how to use the Morningstar database to create a portfolio and conduct research. Business and Teen Librarians have teamed-up to provide a LinkedIn Basics class to help high school and college students tell their story on this critical professional networking platform. Popular presenter Suzanne Cincotta from the Goodwill Career Centers returns with a workshop on writing cover letters and asking for references. To round out the month, a 35 year tax veteran will discuss how changes in the federal and Connecticut estate tax law will alter the estate planning process. read more...

Japan Society to Present Lecture Series Greenwich Library

Japan Society of Fairfield County (JSFC) announces a series of talks on “Japan: Current Events and Trends” in collaboration with Greenwich Library. As one of the focus areas of its 31st-year activities, and a continuation of its close collaboration with Greenwich Library, the three talks will focus on contemporary issues and trends concerning Japan and its foreign relations. read more...

Libraries Extend Hours for School Finals Exam Week

Greenwich Library will once again offer extended hours to accommodate the study needs of high school students during final exams in June. Dozens of students use the Library as a quiet study space during exams, both as individuals and as an ideal location for group study.
