Whitby Hosts ‘Harry Potter’ Fundraiser for Puerto Rico

In the wake of the devastation experienced in Puerto Rico by Hurricanes Irma & Maria, a student group from Whitby School known as Dumbledore’s Army planned and hosted a fundraiser to help hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. The event, entitled “Harry Potter’s Hurricane Healers,” co-sponsored by the Whitby Parents Association (Whitby PA), took place at Whitby’s Performing Art Center Oct. 26. read more...

‘Dance for Champs’ to Benefit United Way Programs

The Greenwich United Way is expanding the organization’s Champion’s programs, spearheaded by their Reading Champions program, to include other subject areas including math, homework and finance over the next year. To help raise awareness and bring in support, Greenwich Dance Studio and Arthur Murray Grand Ballroom of Greenwich is sponsoring a fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 22, at Greenwich Academy. Greenwich United Way’s ‘Brew Ha-Ha’ Set For Oct. 13

Pacific House, in celebration of its commitment to sheltering and improving the lives of our region’s homeless individuals, announces the 16th annual Pacific House Gala.
