I encourage you to talk to your neighbors, sisters, brothers, parents, kids, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and their friends about the importance of donating blood. Donating blood is a simple thing to do but can make a big difference in the lives of others.

The American Red Cross is Building a Strong Future, Brick by Brick

The Metro New York North Chapter of the American Red Cross is working to meet their fundraising goals in the renovations of their headquarters in Greenwich. To do this, they're accepting donations of $500 to engrave a brick on their new walkway with names chosen by the donors. This "buy a brick" campaign supports both their renovation and their community-focused work.
