‘SAFE Program’ Wins Impact Fairfield County Grant

Impact Fairfield County is a collective giving circle that engages women of Fairfield County in local philanthropy on a deeper level. Now in its second year as a philanthropic force in the community, Impact Fairfield County received 51 proposals from non-profits located throughout the county to support new projects or the significant expansion of existing programs. Impact Fairfield County Hosts Fall Kick-Off Meeting

Impact Fairfield County held its second annual Fall Kick-Off Meeting at the Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium on Oct. 19. More than 70 women attended the event and heard from two dynamic speakers: Jason Shaplen, CEO of Inspirica, inaugural $100,000 Impact Grant Winner, and Dr. Debra Mesch, Women’s Philanthropy Institute Director at Indiana University, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Impact Fairfield County Kicks-Off First Grant Year

On Oct. 14, Impact Fairfield County held its Fall Meeting to kick-off its inaugural grant year at the Innis Arden Golf Club. More than 75 women attended the event to hear from speakers Wendy Steele, original founder of the Impact model, and Juanita James, CEO of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. Both speakers discussed the need for this new women’s collective giving circle and the transformational change that Impact Fairfield County will have on the community.
