But a group in Greenwich is dedicated to blocking out the noise of personal attacks and unsubstantiated claims on both sides of the aisle, by focusing on facts and good old fashioned civil discourse. In 2018, CT Women United was formed.

Arthur V. Nedley, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Feb. 6. He was born Nov. 8, 1934 In Greenwich, CT to Arthur and Margaret Nedley. Arthur attended Fairfield Prep and Fordham University prior to enlisting in the army where he served in the 10th Mountain 87th division. He had an extensive career spanning over 33 years in a supervisory capacity with NY Telephone and Verizon. He was a life member and a former Commander of the Byram Veterans Association of Greenwich, CT. He moved to Kingsway in Yarmouth Port, MA in 1995 with his wife Andrea and served on the Kingsway Trust Committee 16 years, serving many years as Chairman. read more...

Gloria “Pat” Miles Price, 85, a resident of Greenwich and formerly of Port Chester died May 6, 2019. She was born March 25, 1924 in Port Chester to the late John R. and Rosalie Porter Miles. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1925. She began working for New York Telephone Company in Rye, N.Y. in 1952 and worked there six years. She retired from the City of Stamford after having worked in the Traffic and Parking Department and then Stamford Police Communications Department Billing after 16 years in 1995. She had been a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Byram, CT and had been active in the choir. read more...

On Dec. 2, Robert Leckie lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 72. Surrounded by his loved ones, he passed away peacefully in his sleep. Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Bob was an only child to William and Betty Leckie. A veteran of the Army Intelligence he was a successful entrepreneur starting up many businesses.
