GHS Students Recognized for PSAT/NMSQT Performance

Fifty-two Greenwich High School (GHS) students have been recognized in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program, an annual academic competition for recognition and college undergraduate scholarships, based on their Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQTÒ) scores. Twelve GHS students qualify for scholarships in the National Merit program and forty-five have been recognized as Commended Students. GHS Students Win National Science Bowl Regional Competition

Students from Greenwich High School (GHS) won the regional competition for the 2018 National Science Bowl (NSB) earlier this month and will advance to compete in the NSB National Finals in Washington, D.C. in April. This is the first time GHS has won the Northeast Regional Science Bowl. The Northeast Science Bowl was held at the University of Connecticut on March 3, with students representing secondary schools from throughout the northeastern United States. GHS Students Take Top Honors at Science Innovation Fair

Five Greenwich High School students took the top awards at the Bruce Museum”s third annual Phenomenon: Science Innovation Fair on June 2. The competition recognized science research projects by regional high school students in grades nine to 12. Ten students selected from 19 applicants, presented research posters to the public and a panel of science and technologogy judges at the museum in Greenwich. read more...

GHS Students Receive Six Medals at 2017 ISWEEEP

Each of the six – a school record – Greenwich High School students that were awarded the opportunity to participate in the 2017 International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering, and the Environment) Project Olympiad (ISWEEEP) took home top prizes.
