First Selectman to sign Diabetes Awareness Week proclamation

On Monday, Sept. 12 at 11:30 a.m. Peter J. Tesei , First Selectman of the Town of Greenwich will sign a proclamation declaring the week of September 26, 2016 as Greenwich’s third Diabetes Awareness Week. Greenwich raises French flag to mark Bastille Day

Bastille Day, the name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Holiday is celebrated annually on July 14. Broken Promises Launches Campaign in Greenwich

Broken Promises, a non-profit dedicated to helping struggling single parent families and their children by providing financial support and educational opportunities, raising national awareness of the challenges they face, and to effect positive change, held a fundraising event at Zorya Fine Art gallery. The event, part of the “Help is on its way!” campaign for all of Fairfield County, was a great success. Many State and Local representatives were on hand including First Selectman Peter J. Tesei, Selectman John Toner, State Representative Livvy Floren, and Mary Lee Kiernan to celebrate the organization’s mission and show support for their cause.  read more...
