‘Diversity of Wild Bees’ is Topic of Presentation

The Bruce Museum Seaside Center will kick off the Fred Elser First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center Series this summer on July 1 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., at the Innis Arden Cottage in Greenwich Point Park. Family activities throughout the afternoon will focus on native bees. At 2 p.m., Nick Dorian, a first-year PhD student at Tufts University in Medford, Mass., will talk about “Everything except Honey: The Diversity of Wild Bees.” read more...

Grand Re-Opening of Bruce Museum’s Seaside Center is June 24

This Sunday, June 24, the Bruce Museum Seaside Center celebrates their annual Grand Reopening from 1 to 4 p.m. The opening is part of the Greenwich Shellfish Commission’s “Experience the Sound” event, bringing together scores of community groups and organizations in Greenwich and the surrounding area that organize water sports and other environmental pursuits. read more...
