YWCA Greenwich Invites Community to its ‘Secret Garden’

YWCA Greenwich’s annual gala is one of the social highlights of the season. This year’s event on Friday, April 6, will have a new image: “Live, Laugh Love, an Evening of Empowerment.” Under the theme “The Secret Garden” the YWCA promises a festive, fun event, featuring dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions with Lisa Kerney, ESPN sports anchor as Master of Ceremonies and Terry Betteridge as auctioneer. YWCA Announces Spirit of Greenwich Honorees

YWCA 2017 “Spirit of Greenwich Awards” will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Greenwich Country Club from 5 to 7 p.m. Established in 1993, the award recognizes outstanding women in our community who, through their significant volunteer work, vision, devotion, and accomplishments have enriched the lives of many. Together, this year’s recipients have volunteered for more than 50 local schools, churches and non-profit organizations in Greenwich and Fairfield County. read more...

YWCA’s “Fabulous Family Fair” is Sept. 9

YWCA Greenwich is upping its game this fall with new coaches for its basketball and tennis programs, the introduction of Broadway Song & Dance Theatre with Michelle Marceau, the founder of the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio, and two new dance programs – Creative Movement and Beginning Jazz – which will be taught by Emily Isidori, a professionally trained dance instructor. read more...
