United Way’s Golf Tournament Raises Much Needed Funds

The Greenwich United Way had their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament May 21 at Burning Tree Country Club. This year’s event directly benefited the organization’s soon to be launched Human Services Technology Solutions (HSTS) program that is part of the organization’s three Direct Impact Programs. The organization launched its “dual-philanthropic” option for donors earlier this year after a quiet phase of fundraising that launched in 2016. Youth Impact Programming and Early Childhood Achievement Gap Solutions are the other two collaborative programs categorized under Direct Impact. NESC Awards Dinner to Honor Greenwich Residents

The National Executive Service Corps (NESC) will be celebrating its 40th anniversary Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the Round Hill Club. Greenwich residents Susan Bevan and Marv Berenblum will be honored for their NESC leadership and service to the nonprofit community. Greenwich United Way’s ‘Brew Ha-Ha’ Set For Oct. 13

Town holds Health and Wellness Expo for Older Adults

The 2nd Health and Wellness Expo for Older Adults (formerly the Senior Health Fair) is planned for Thursday, Oct. 6. It will take place at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, 90 Harding Rd, Old Greenwich, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is organized by the Greenwich Commission on Aging, the Greenwich Department of Health and Greenwich Hospital. read more...
