ISD Launches Campaign to Honor Beloved Greenwich Teacher

This month marks the one-year passing of a very special educator in the Greenwich community. Brenda Macri, a longtime teacher in Greenwich Public Schools and at The International School at Dundee (ISD) passed away on Dec. 8, 2018. To honor her memory, the ISD Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is launching a campaign to purchase library books and flowering bulbs, which students will plant in the garden in the spring. Obituary: Gloria Price

Gloria “Pat” Miles Price, 85, a resident of Greenwich and formerly of Port Chester died May 6, 2019. She was born March 25, 1924 in Port Chester to the late John R. and Rosalie Porter Miles. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1925. She began working for New York Telephone Company in Rye, N.Y. in 1952 and worked there six years. She retired from the City of Stamford after having worked in the Traffic and Parking Department and then Stamford Police Communications Department Billing after 16 years in 1995. She had been a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Byram, CT and had been active in the choir. read more...

Obituary: The Hon. Daniel F. Caruso

The Honorable Daniel F. Caruso, age 60, of Fairfield, the Probate Judge for the Town of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. Born in Greenwich, the son of the late Frederick A. Caruso, Sr. and Ruth (Collins) Caruso Quiriconi, he was a lifelong Fairfield resident. Judge Caruso graduated from St. Pius X Parochial School, Roger Ludlowe High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School. read more...
