At River House, participants enjoy a welcoming community where friendships flourish through meaningful social engagement. Daily programming includes a variety of enriching activities both on-site and throughout the community, including visits to local museums, parks, beaches, and cultural attractions.
Our therapeutic recreation program is designed to support the physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being of each participant. Activities include fitness and exercise, music, art, dance, memory enhancement, games, pet therapy, educational programs, and community outings.
As an accredited medical model adult day center, River House provides individualized care plans tailored to each participant’s unique needs. Our professional healthcare team offers medication administration, nursing oversight, chronic disease management, stroke aftercare, health monitoring, assistance with personal care and hygiene, bathing support, and salon services to help participants look and feel their best.
River House Adult Day Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults while providing peace of mind for their caregivers. As the only accredited medical model adult day center serving Greenwich, Stamford, and Lower Westchester County, we offer safe transportation, nutritious meals, engaging therapeutic programming, and compassionate, person-centered medical care in a safe and supportive environment.
