Historical Society, Clay Art Center and Flinn Gallery Sponsor ‘ConneCT-NY Culture Trip’
October 23 @ 11:30 am - 4:00 pm
Clay Art Center of Port Chester, NY, Flinn Gallery of Greenwich Library and Greenwich Historical Society announce conneCT-NY Culture Trip, a new collaboration highlighting the richness of art, history, and culture within the local setting.
Designed as inspiration for a perfect day trip adventure, conneCT-NY Culture Trip promotes accessibility to the offerings of all three organizations. The sites are linked by road or rail, and only 15 minutes apart along the Connecticut/New York coastline. Experienced together, they offer a shared cultural experience and open a dialogue on artistic expression and historical context, forging connection, and honoring community.
Day trip adventurers will want to make the most of their experience. Visitors may begin their visit at Clay Art Center, followed by lunch at one of Greenwich Avenue’s top-rated restaurants, before proceeding to the sites in Connecticut. All three sites offer admission-free Wednesdays, including scheduled guided exhibition and studio tours at Clay Art Center at 11.30am, leaving plenty of time for lunch, followed by visits to both Flinn Gallery and Greenwich Historical Society.
