Greenwich High Softball Battles Mustangs at Home

The weather should be nearly perfect for the Greenwich High School softball team as they host Fairfield Warde High School today at 4 p.m.  On Wednesday, the Cards lost a hard-fought battle with Norwalk High, leading 8-5 going into the bottom of the seventh before falling 9-8. Leading the way for Big Red was Julie Gambino, who finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Not to be outdone was Katelyn Grimes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs batted in. Sami Scordo went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and Julia Greco finished 2-for-4.
