Greenwich High Girls Lax to Host Non-Conference Game vs. Glastonbury

The Greenwich High School girls lacrosse team will be stepping away from Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference competition for the day and will host another GHS, Glastonbury High School, at 3:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium. The Tomahawks and Cardinals seem to be a familiar each other, as they have squared off several times during the regular season and in the class L tournament. In addition, both schools seem to clash in state tournaments in other sports. This past fall the field hockey and girls soccer programs competed against each other, as have the boys lacrosse, boys soccer and softball teams in recent memory. Last winter the GHS boys hockey team beat Glastonbury in OT to advance to the Division I finals.
