Garden Design Workshop
May 15, 2021 @ 9:30 am
$45Join the Greenwich Audubon Center for a workshop to get you started with gardening for wildlife in your backyard! This workshop will be led by biologist James Carr, who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens for more than 20 years.
One of the best ways we can support wildlife around our homes, schools, or community spaces is through gardening. Gardens are a wonderful way of supporting both wildlife and people with respite, beauty, and vital habitat. This Garden Design Workshop will help you learn techniques for designing your garden, and will include a lecture, interactive discussions, and hands-on training outside. All levels of awareness and experience welcome.
This workshop will take place mostly outside in a small group setting on the Audubon grounds. Once you register, we will reach out to you with more information about the program. If you are unable to make it to this program, the instructor is also available for private sessions. If you are interested in this option, please reach out to us for private session rates. Capacity is limited, so we encourage you to register early.
