Editorial: Why Our Flag Is Pink for the Month

One of the nice things about having a paper with an editorial page is that it gives you a soapbox. You can take a stand on an issue, comment on a business or community leader, or support or oppose a cause. It gives you a voice. We are supporting a cause. ISD Holds First 5K Run And Kids Obstacle Course

JFS Celebrates Grandparents Day

Jewish Family Services of Greenwich (JFS) announced its Supermarketing for Seniors Celebrates Grandparents Day event, to be held on Sunday, Sept. 20. In partnership with neighborhood supermarkets, including A&P, Kings, Stop & Shop, and Balducci’s, as well as with The Senior Center of Greenwich, JFS representatives and volunteers will be stationed across the community to raise awareness and funding for its Supermarketing for Seniors program, a nondenominational free grocery shopping and case management service designed to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of housebound Greenwich citizen 60 years of age and older. read more...
