Greenwich Students Attend Say STEM Camp at Rice University

Brother duo Lochlan and Walker Laitala traveled to Houston for a week this summer to attend Rice University’s prestigious and unique Say STEM Camp hosted by The Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity. Shelter Tasting/Concert Funds Support Homeless Young Adults

Hundreds of community leaders, food and music enthusiasts and community-minded area residents gathered together at the Pacific House Close To Home Dessert Tasting and Youth Concert Friday night at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. Chess Tournaments for Children to Begin Sunday

The 2017-18 Grand Prix chess season, produced by the National Scholastic Chess Foundation, begins with two tournaments in Greenwich. On Sunday, Nov. 12 the competition, open to all students in grades K-12, will be hosted by Greenwich Academy, 200 N. Maple Ave. The second event will be on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Greenwich Country Day School (GCDS), 401 Old Church Rd.
