Greenwich United Way Hosts Annual Legislative Breakfast

Greenwich United Way held the Annual Legislative Breakfast where the Greenwich community was able to hear directly from Connecticut legislation regarding current issues and future projects for the town. Legislators each responded to questions from Greenwich United Way with their thoughts and goals. Residents had the chance to speak with some legislators following the event with any further questions they may have had.

On practically any given day, Tom’s Auto Driving School, located on 1212 East Putnam Avenue in Riverside across the street from McDonalds, is as bustling a hotspot as ever as Tom Ferraro and his sister, Linda Muccio, its owners, along with their office manager, Donna Muccio, Linda’s daughter, are typically busy servicing their customers hailing from Greenwich and its surrounding towns and looking to obtain a good and lasting driving foundation.

Louise Weber honored at memorable event held by The First Bank of Greenwich

Louise Weber, the ever-dedicated member of the community whose many contributions over the years included that of being a prominent member of the Garden Club of Old Greenwich as well as a Board Member and former Chair of the Bruce Museum before having sadly passed last November, was honored by The First Bank of Greenwich in a heartwarming event held at their main office on East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob on Wednesday, January 10th that featured two exquisite tabletop holiday trees she had designed for the Greenwich Historical Society’s annual Holiday Festival of Tabletop Trees of which the bank had purchased at a silent auction for visitors and customers to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
