To bridge that gap, the Cell Phones For Soldiers (CPFS) initiative has emerged to provide essential connection for deployed servicemen and women. Since its inception in 2004, CPFS “has provided more than 400 million minutes of airtime to servicemen and women deployed around the world” according to their website. Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Names 2024 Youth of the Year

Last Wednesday, amidst one of the most torrential nights of the year so far in terms of rain, spirits were high as ever as more than 375 attendees unwaveringly showed up to attend the 56th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Youth of the Year event held at the Greenwich Hyatt where Omar Badr, a Greenwich High School senior, was named as the 2024 Youth of the Year winner and Yasmine Bruce, an Eastern Middle School eighth grader, was honored as the Junior Youth of the Year.
