Greenwich Rotary Club Supports Community

Greenwich Rotary, established in Greenwich in 1921, states that its mission as a community civic organization is to provide support, financial aid and good will in the areas of health, education and peace to bring about lasting change in the community and around the world. To this end Greenwich Rotary announces that its financial requests from Greenwich agencies have been met. They were proud of their ability to donate $4000 to Neighbor-to-Neighbor, most of the funding coming from the members themselves. #JLGThankourheroes Campaign to Thank All the Heroes in our Community

The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) announces “#JLGThankourheroes”, a new social media campaign in recognition of National EMS week. The JLG is inviting everyone in the community to create thank you cards, heart-felt video messages, drawings or simple posts of thanks and use the tag #JLGThankourheroes. The gratitude display is not just limited to EMS, the JLG wants to know who your hero has been in the Town of Greenwich over the past couple months. Live Children’s Concerts to Benefit CLC

Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) presents two free concerts as a gift to children and families. Both singers will be performing from their own homes and families can text the singers while they perform. “Our hearts are with the families of young children who are at home for the long-haul, homeschooling, playing and seeing friends on Zoom,” said Marc E. Jaffe, Chief Executive Officer of CLC. “We wanted to give children and their parents a special treat to look forward to- two happy concerts to sing and dance and move around. We love our children and we miss all of them being with us.” read more...
