Impact FFC Hosts Impactful Conversation

Impact Fairfield County (Impact FFC) held the 3rd of its Impactful Conversation series on Feb. 4 at HAYVN in Darien to discuss Meaningful Philanthropy with a panel of 4 philanthropic leaders in our community. Impact FFC, now in its 5th year of grant giving, began Impactful Conversations a year ago as an opportunity for members to take a deeper dive into the issues they are affecting with their grant giving. Drawing over 70 Impact FFC members from every corner of Fairfield County, the event brought its growing membership together to both learn from and meet with fellow philanthropists. read more...

Greenwich Public School’s Honor Band Performs

Greenwich Public School’s 3rd Annual Honor Band Performance, with guest conductor Sal LaRusso, will take place on February 5. Honor Band is comprised of over 100 fifth and sixth grade band students representing every elementary and middle school. These students were nominated to join this group by their respective band teachers; selections were based on their musical aptitude, hard work and dedication to their instrument. read more...

‘Genealogy Story Slam’ at Cos Cob Library

Join the Cos Cob Library for a captivating morning of “American Idol” meets “Finding Your Roots,” on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ‘Genealogy Story Slam’ is a Genealogy storytelling competition in front of a live audience, for fun and prizes. Abilis Valentine’s Day Sip and Shop

Abilis, the non-profit organization that supports more than 700 individuals with special needs and their families from birth throughout adulthood, is holding a pre Valentine’s Day Sip and Shop at Abilis Gardens & Gifts. The event will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., and will feature a 25% discount off total purchases. February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month

On Monday, February 3, First Selectman Fred Camillo will read a proclamation declaring February 2020 Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month in Greenwich. YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services, along with students from the Greenwich High School YNet Club will be in attendance. The Greenwich Art Society Opens New Exhibit

The Greenwich Art Society presents “The Figure as Abstract Composition” recent paintings by Nancy W.
