Mort Walker, creator of the iconic comic strips Beetle Bailey and Hi and Lois, established a creative legacy that was continued by his son Brian Walker. Brian not only took over the comic strips but also founded the Connecticut Chapter of the National Cartoonist Society and worked to preserve cartoon art history through exhibitions and books. Growing up in a household filled with cartoonists and later working alongside his family, Brian Walker maintained the humor and spirit of his father's comic strips while adding his own contemporary touch.
