CT State Fraternal Order of Police endorses Leora Levy

The Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police announced their endorsement of Leora Levy for U.S. Senate. Levy is a strong, unwavering voice for law enforcement, advocating for qualified immunity to be restored at the federal level and opposing the radical defund the police movement.

“It is with great honor that the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police announces that it has endorsed Leora Levy for U.S. Senate. There is no doubt that she will put the best interests of law enforcement and her constituents first. Connecticut law enforcement has suffered significantly under the so-called ‘police accountability’ bill, making it more difficult for law enforcement to do our job serving and protecting our communities. Currently, we have no voice in Washington, D.C., but we know we will be strongly represented by Leora Levy. She is the best candidate to move the safety and security of our state forward,” said Det. Sgt. John Krupinsky, President of the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police.

Leora Levy’s statement in response to the endorsement:

“The brave men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to keep Connecticut residents safe while doing an excellent job engaging in our communities with the people they serve. While 37-year career politician Dick Blumenthal sides with the radical Left who disparages and defunds our police and stands with criminals over innocent victims, I stand with law enforcement. Connecticut is ready for a law-and-order candidate to take the reins, secure our border to stop the flood of deadly fentanyl from coming into our country, and stand against our revolving door justice system that puts dangerous criminals right back on the street. We must give law enforcement the tools to do their job, and that is what I will fight for every day in Washington. I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police.”
