Margaret Vincent

Margaret Aikman Vincent, Margay, beloved mother, wife, sister and friend passed away surrounded by family July 21, 2022. Born Margaret Aikman Lind on April 17, 1941 in Lewiston, ME, the first child of Margaret Creasy Lind and Vincent Edwin Lind.

Margay is survived by Rick Vincent, her loving husband of 34 years, her twin children Scott and Lara Tracy, her brother Tor Lind, and grandchildren Elisabeth and Kendra Ryder, and Alyssa and Nathan Tracy.

With love and generosity she blended her families including 7 stepchildren and their families: Tony, Richie, Micheal, Doreen, and Michelle Vincent; and Mitchell and Carl Tracy from her first marriage to Dr. Ward W. Tracy.

Margay graduated from the University of Bridgeport and was a dental hygienist for over 50 years. Margay had many hobbies including photography, gardening, crafting, and she loved to sing. She was a passionate animal lover, caring for many dogs, cats, horses, chickens and two sheep. Margay was also passionate about the Dingletown Community Church, of which she was an active member and leader for over 50 years. Margay and Rick lived in Weston, CT for 34 years, but their favorite destination was the family island on Moosehead Lake in Maine.

A Service will be held at the Dingletown Community Church in Greenwich, on September 24 at 1 pm.
