Fireworks Picnic Fundraiser to Benefit Sound Beach Community Band

The Sound Beach Community Band, in partnership with Burke Catering, announce its first-ever Picnic Fundraiser in conjunction with the Binney Park fireworks display on Saturday, July 2.

Supporters can pre-order picnic boxes to be picked up between 5pm & 7pm behind the Showmobile in Binney Park on the day of the fireworks, rain or shine. Meals cannot be purchased on site. The fireworks display will start at about 9:10pm. If the show is canceled due to inclement weather, the catered meals will still be available for pick-up.

20% of each order will be donated to the support the Sound Beach Community Band’s free concerts in Old Greenwich. Orders will be accepted until June 29.

Three meal options (each box serves 2) and a discounted kids’ meal are available. Options include dijon grilled chicken breast on caesar salad and honey dijon grilled salmon – lobster rolls can be purchased for an additional charge – all with carefully selected accompaniments and soft drinks.

The Sound Beach Community Band is a private non-profit organization. In addition to the pre-fireworks concert, summer 2022 performances in Binney Park include the Sound Beach VFD Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on May 30, The Magic of Disney on Sunday July 31 and A Night at the Movies on Sunday August 28. SBCB will also perform at the Town of Greenwich Independence Day Celebration at Town Hall on Monday, July4.
