After a slow start and an adjustment in between periods (thanks to a little birdy in the balcony), Brunswick played a nearly perfect second period, took the lead, and went on to defeat Elite Hockey Academy by a score of 4-2 at Hartong Rink.
Sophomore Ryan Wachtel and freshman Tucker Spiess each netted their first career tallies for the Bruins — and sophomores Brendan Giles and Casey Quinson also added goals. Keeping it young tonight at Hartong.
Junior Will Baker was very solid between the pipes to earn the W.
It was ultimately a good day of preparation for the big weekend ahead.
Frederick Gunn (formerly Gunnery) visits on Friday night at 6 p.m.
