My Voting Power has announced plans to host a virtual town hall event featuring Kimberly Fiorello, State Representative of Connecticut’s 149th congressional district. The nonpartisan organization’s first event since its March launch will take place on June 23, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom and focus on educating the community about the responsibilities of state representatives.

Tony Turner, founder and sponsor of My Voting Power, will moderate the Town Hall, focusing on topics such as local issues that affect millennials and how to access more information about legislation and bills. After remarks from State Representative Fiorello, attendees will have the opportunity to ask further questions.

As a nonpartisan organization, My Voting Power invited Democratic and Republican state representatives to be featured speakers at this event. Republican representative, Fiorello, responded to the invitation and will be joining My Voting Power for the event.

This educational event invites community members to learn more about the impact that elected officials have on daily life in Greenwich.

For information on how to attend the town hall, please email the My Voting Power team at hello@myvotingpower.org.
