Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni  Jones has appointed Ms. Cindy Boucard as Assistant Principal for Parkway School, effective July  1, 2021. Ms. Boucard has been serving as the Interim Assistant Principal at Parkway School and will now take on this position permanently following the retirement of Mr. Jeffrey Libby. In this role,  Ms. Boucard will support supervision and evaluation of staff, facilitation of the special education process, maintaining a safe and welcoming school climate, and advocating on behalf of all students.

Superintendent Dr. Jones shared, “We are thrilled that Cindy will be joining the Parkway School community permanently. Given her background in Special Education and her leadership roles  both in our Central Office and at our schools, coupled with the relationships and connections that  she has already forged at Parkway, we know she will continue to be a great leader for the school.”

Prior to this current role as Interim Assistant Principal, Ms. Boucard held a number of leadership roles across the District. These roles include Interim Assistant Principal at New Lebanon School during February 2018 – April 2018, and again in March 2019 – May 2019, and a maternity leave replacement for a Special Education Coordinator at our Central Office, serving students across our entire District. Prior to joining GPS in 2012 as a Special  Education Teacher for New Lebanon School, Ms. Boucard began her educational career in  Bridgeport, CT as a Special Education Teacher.

Ms. Boucard shared, “I am honored and excited to be permanently joining the Parkway School community. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with our students, faculty, and families over the past year and feel that Parkway has truly become my home. I will continue to  support the great work that has been accomplished at Parkway for the remainder of this year and  in future years to come.”

Ms. Boucard holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health from Albertus Magnus College; a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Autism  Special Education, and an Intermediate Administration and Supervision 092 Certification from  Sacred Heart University.
