Metro North Update

Weekend Service on Metro-North’s Hudson Line; Harlem Line service between Pleasantville and GCT only; and New Haven Line Service between Stamford and GCT only for Thurs., Aug. 6

On Thursday, Aug. 6, Metro-North will continue to operate weekend service between Stamford and GCT on the New Haven Line. Service between Stamford and New Haven continues to be suspended until further notice.

Metro-North crew members have been working around the clock, and have made significant progress in repairing extensive damage to tracks, signals and overhead wires caused by the storm which were particularly impacted on the Harlem and New Haven Lines. While crews continue to make repairs, customers may encounter delays of between 10 and 20 minutes.

New Haven Line

Metro-North is operating weekend service between Stamford and Grand Central Terminal. Service between Stamford and New Haven continues to be suspended until further notice.

–On the New Canaan branch, bus service will run on a weekend schedule, but customers can expect delays due to road closures/detours.
