Message from Norman G. Roth to Greenwich Hospital Patients and Community
Regarding COVID-19

March 12, 2020
Dear Patient:

Greenwich Hospital has learned that a patient cared for in the Emergency Department on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 tested positive for COVID-19. The patient from New York has been released home under the supervision of the patient’s local public health department.

We are taking every precaution to ensure that this community-acquired case is contained as we continue to monitor the patient’s condition.

Our top priority remains the safety of patients, visitors and staff. To that end we adhere to all CDC guidelines and protocols. Yale New Haven Health has made information available about the coronavirus on its website and has established a call center, 833-ASK-YNHH (833-275-9644), for questions from the community.

We appreciate your understanding and please don’t hesitate to ask any member of our staff if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for entrusting your care to Greenwich Hospital.

Sincerely,

Norman G. Roth
President and CEO
Greenwich Hospital
