Five area artists are showing their work in an exhibit entitled “Welcoming Moments” at the Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Ave., from November 2-30. Each artist has her own individual style, from the Abstract Expressionist paintings by Sharon Shisler, to the abstract oils and embroideries of Carol Nipomnich Dixon, to the naturalistic landscapes of Lucie Anderes, the abstract collages of Katia Streiff, and the mixed media representational art of Vivian Bergenthal.
The CT Pioneer Branch of the NLAPW, the oldest branch in the state, was founded in1925 and has was its members professional visual artists, composers, and writers.
