On Sept. 23, a musical legend turns 70 years old and to celebrate C. Parker Gallery is exhibiting a never-before seen collection of Bruce Springsteen photographs, gold records, signed memorabilia and artwork featuring “The Boss.” The exhibit, entitled, “Growin’ Up – Bruce Springsteen at 70” opens Sept. 19 and runs through Sept. 29.

Some of the highlights of the exhibit include rare unpublished 1972-1975 photographs from Springsteen’s earliest days performing in the Philadelphia area from the late photographer and Springsteen friend, Phil Ceccola. In addition, award winning photographer Debra Rothenberg, author of the book, ‘Bruce Springsteen In Focus 1980-2012’ will showcase her photographs. No other professional photographer has been behind the camera at Springsteen concerts for as many years as Rothenberg. Other Springsteen photographers include works from René van Diemen, Jeff Ross, Rocco Coviello, Guy Aceto, David Denenberg and others.

“Growin’ Up – Bruce Springsteen at 70” features over a dozen photographers plus an archived personal collection from a 40+ year Springsteen collector with autographed items and rare memorabilia.

Join C. Parker Gallery and Springsteen photographer Debra Rothenberg at the opening reception on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. Signed photographs and books will be available for purchase. The exhibit is free and all works are available for purchase.

C. Parker Gallery is located at 409 Greenwich Ave. To learn more, visit cparkergallery.com
