Temple Sholom left its synagogue on 300 East Putnam Avenue for the night and enjoyed a gorgeous early evening on the water, as they hosted its annual “Shabbat on the Sound” on Friday, July 26 at Tod’s Point in Greenwich.

Shabbat on the Sound, a Temple Sholom tradition for more than 25 years, offers the opportunity to welcome Shabbat together in a casual, outdoor setting overlooking the picturesque Sound.

The evening began with a spirited Tot Shabbat for young families and concluded with a Musical Kabbalat Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Chaya Bender, Cantor Sandy Bernstein, and featured the Temple Sholom Band.
