The Department of Parks and Recreation’s Wednesday Night Concert Series will feature the Bob Button Orchestra at Binney Park on June 26 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. The rain date for this concert is Thursday, June 27.
This popular 12-piece orchestra will present a program of big band classics as originally recorded by the famous bands of the Swing Era. Gail Clear is the featured vocalist.
This is the first Parks & Recreation Wednesday Night Concert of the summer season. Other upcoming Wednesday Night Concerts will be held in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, and will feature Souled Again playing the hits from the Motown era on July 10, and The Sunkings playing your favorite Beatles hits on July 17.
