Superintendent of Schools Ralph Mayo has announced the appointment of Mr. Jason Goldstein as the Principal of Eastern Middle School (EMS), effective immediately. Mr. Goldstein has served in the interim role at EMS since July 2018. Mr. Goldstein said, “I am thrilled and excited to have been selected as the Principal of Eastern Middle School. Joining the EMS family this past year has been a wonderful experience. I look forward to continuing the collaborative work with the amazing students, staff, and parents as we foster student growth and develop future problem-solvers, innovators, and strong community leaders.”
Mr. Mayo said, “It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that Jason Goldstein will be the next principal of Eastern Middle School. Jason brings to EMS a strong understanding of best practices at the secondary level along with the necessary understanding and joy to collaborate in a highly effective manner with the middle level child. Jason is a natural leader who looks to solve problems and make improvements in a timely, but thoughtful manner. Jason has all of the characteristics, skills and attributes to ensure that our students will grow academically and emotionally in a very safe environment.”
