The Department of Parks and Recreation announces open registration for Cos Cob Community Preschool’s 2019-2020 school year. Greenwich residents may log onto WebTrac, the Town of Greenwich’s Online Services, to register and will remain open until the program is filled.
Cos Cob Community Preschool’s mission is to provide a safe, happy, fun-loving environment in which children can learn and grow. It will help children to learn and live by the principles of honesty, compassion and fairness.
The Cos Cob Community Preschool uses a play-based curriculum as they believe that play leads the way to discovery and learning. Children are provided with opportunities to learn through many different variations of play. Parents are an integral part of the program. Parents are their child’s first and most important teachers. Their input and information about their child is continually sought and valued.
The Preschool is licensed by the State of Connecticut.
Classes are held Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and families may sign up for classes three to five days per week. The program is reasonably and competitively priced. The Cos Cob Community Preschool program is located at 54 Bible St. and runs on the public school schedule with some exceptions.
