Submission Policy

Please note our policy, which is applied uniformly to all submissions.

If you would like to submit a written piece for consideration, it should be an accurate, civil argument about an issue in the news.

We prefer pieces that are 350 to 1,000 words and free of unsubstantiated claims and idioms. Please note that we do our best to fact check letters and OpEd pieces prior to publication. This is not always possible but we will request edits or clarification rather that reject something outright.

Our goal is to try to publish as many of these pieces as we can, while to ensuring facts offered to the public are the most correct and accurate possible.

Our policy is standard and reflective of usual practices in the industry by publications such as the The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.

All submissions  should be directed to Editor@GreenwichSentinel.com.
