Cecelia Siciliano passed away on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019. Cecelia was born on Sept. 10, 1929 in Greenwich to the late Anthony and Mary Forte Gasparino. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Siciliano who predeceased her in 2003.
A graduate of Greenwich High School, Cecelia worked for the Greenwich Board of Education in the food service department. A longtime resident of Chickahominy, Cecelia was a devoted parishioner of St. Roch Church and loved helping with the festival every year. She and her friends, the “Byram Beach Ladies,” enjoyed going to the beach and sharing good times together. Cecelia was also very active with the Glenville AARP. Her greatest joy was being with her family.
Cecelia was the loving mother to Joseph Siciliano, Cecelia Siciliano and Joan Orlando. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Palmisano. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Michael and Kimberly, and three great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may visit Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Rd. #3. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Roch Church, 10 St. Roch Ave. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch Church.
