The Cos Cob Library Staff and The Friends invite the community to their annual celebration of National Hot Tea Month on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m., with a return visit by Betty Johnson, from the Bigelow Tea Company.
Johnson will discuss the latest recognized health benefits of tea and provide some history of tea, while attendees enjoy various samples along with pastries provided by The Friends.
Register online or call 203-622-6883, if you need assistance. All tea drinkers are welcome, including children. Attendees may bring their favorite teacup. They will also receive a goody bag of assorted teas. (There is a waitlist, so If you find you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation.)
