The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library invite the community to share some holiday happiness on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. when the Friends Film Club presents a free screening of Holiday Inn in the library’s Community Room, 21 Mead Ave.
The 1942 classic, starring Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby and Margaret Rutherford is guaranteed to make you smile. There will be a brief introduction by Jerry Stinson, Friends Co-Chair and knowledgeable film buff, and discussion following the movie. Cheese, wine and apple cider will add to the festive feeling.
