Greenwich Hospital is again partnering with the American Red Cross to host their Holiday Mail for Heroes. Holiday Mail for Heroes is an annual campaign where the American Red Cross affords Americans the opportunity to send messages of thanks and holiday cheer to military members, veterans, and their families.
Sending holiday mail to American military members, veterans, and their families not only allows communities to express messages of gratitude, but also provides an opportunity to share holiday cheer to those serving far from home.
This year’s event will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop at 199 Hamilton Ave.
All materials for the cards will be provided as well as refreshments. Santa will be on hand to greet the card makers. All participants will receive 10% off at the Thrift Shop.
