Splash Car Wash to Honor Veterans

Splash Car Wash announced that it will once again honor all military veterans and active-duty personnel by washing their cars for free on Veterans Day, Nov. 12.  “It’s the least we can do to show our gratitude for those who have sacrificed so much to protect our way of life,” stated Mark Curtis, CEO of Splash. The chain has been honoring the military this way for over 20 years.

Splash joins a group of car wash owners across the United States and in three other countries who participate in an effort known as Grace for Vets. This year Grace for Vets is expected to have over 3400 car wash locations participating by giving away close to 300,000 free washes.

Curtis took over as president of Grace for Vets upon the retirement of Mike Mountz, founder of the organization, in 2014. “I was pleased to be able to continue the great effort Mike started ten years ago and work with so many operators around the world.  It is a privilege to honor our vets and soldiers in this small way, and their appreciation of our small gesture makes it all worth it. We get vets from World War II on,” added Curtis.
