Gabriele’s of Greenwich, a mainstay in the Greenwich food scene for over 35 years, has announced several changes ahead. Among them: a renovation to the second floor, which will now accommodate both larger events and more intimate dinner parties, a new Director of Events and Marketing, and a revamped menu by longtime Executive Chef Joe Giordano that will include lighter fare to compliment Gabriele’s classics, including additional seafood, salad and pasta plates individually prepared with ingredients carefully curated from local purveyors.

Chef Giordano explained that: “Our guests love coming to Gabriele’s for the food, unparalleled service and great atmosphere. That’s our best recipe, and we are maintaining those traditions. Our refreshed menu is a nod to our past but with the addition of a few lighter items to reflect the increased availability of fresh, local, and organic options and to excite our clientele. That’s a mouthful for a guy from the Bronx, but it’s all true!”

Asked about her new role as Director of Events and Marketing, Dana Cifone said: “Gabriele’s is about to open one of the most spectacular event spaces in Greenwich. We’ll be able to accommodate our private party guests in open, airy, and highly ammenitized rooms. The team at Gabriele’s has been great to work with. As we refresh this aspect of the restaurant, we’re careful not to lose sight of our history and our discerning loyal customers and corporate event clients.”
