To the Editor:
On Saturday, June 23, we held our second annual Rep. Camillo/Adopt-A-Dog of Greenwich pet adoption event in Cos Cob. As with the inaugural event, it was a great success!
The people who attended, the hard working Adopt-A-Dog volunteers, and the wonderful staff members at this terrific organization made for a memorable afternoon. And yes, a few lucky dogs found new forever homes with several others being introduced to our community. There were even two beautiful cats there that became instant hits with all those in attendance!
For all those who could not attend, please feel free to visit Adopt-A-Dog of Greenwich’s facility at 23 Cox Road in Armonk, N.Y., just yards from the Greenwich town line. Also, please mark down the date of Sept. 16, when Adopt-A-Dog hosts its biggest event of the year, the annual Puttin’ On The Dog event at Roger Sherman Park in Greenwich.
