Japan Society to Present Lecture Series Greenwich Library

Japan Society of Fairfield County (JSFC) announces a series of talks on “Japan: Current Events and Trends” in collaboration with Greenwich Library. As one of the focus areas of its 31st-year activities, and a continuation of its close collaboration with Greenwich Library, the three talks will focus on contemporary issues and trends concerning Japan and its foreign relations.

On Saturday, June 23 at 2 p.m., in the 2nd floor Meeting Room, the series will kick-off with, “Hello Japan: US-Japan Collaboration,” a talk on Japanese diplomacy. Guest speaker Masaru Sato, Deputy Consul General of Japan, will review the US-Japan relationship with a special focus on economic, security and cultural aspects.
