Dr. Ercument Ozizmir, 83, passed away on Feb. 20, 2018. His family and his loving wife of 58 years were at his side.
He leaves behind his wife, Martha O. Shoemaker, his daughter, Nilufer O. DeScherer (Robert) of Woodcliff Lake, NJ and his son, Dan Ozizmir (Nancy) of Riverside, CT. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Daniel, Annika, David, Michael and Charlotte. He leaves behind two sisters, Mujgan Oguz and Gulten Sag and their families.
There will be a celebration of his life on June 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Riverside Yacht Club, 102 Club Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Dr. Ercument Ozizmir to the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
