Spring has sprung, and April showers have brought plenty of May flowers. Each spring, Greenwich Land Trust welcomes volunteers to help plant wildflowers, tend to the vegetable garden and help in the greenhouse. A walk is planned, offering an opportunity to experience the seasonal landscape, native plants and animals.

Garden & Greenhouse Volunteer Mornings
Tuesdays through June at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Spring is a very busy time of year at Greenwich Land Trust. Come roll up your sleeves for a morning of learning and lending your helping hands planting wildflowers, the vegatable garden or helping in the greenhouse. No experience necessary, but green thumbs are always welcome!
Greenwich Land Trust Mueller Preserve, 370 Round Hill Rd. Free, but RSVP to: steve@gltrust.org

Connecticut Trails Day
Sunday, June 3 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Greenwich Land Trust will be joining the Friends of Mianus River Park to lead a National Trails Day hike at the Mianus River Park on the Stamford-Greenwich brder. The groups will be discussing the wonderful natural and historic features of the Park and enjoying its beauty on a three-mile hike over moderate terrain. Greenwich Land Trust shares a conservation easement on the park’s Treetop preserve.
