Greenwich Public Schools (GPS) Administration is hosting an important opportunity for community engagement on the Greenwich High School Cardinal Field Improvement Project and the Greenwich Public Schools Facilities Master Plan on Tuesday, May 22. The Cardinal Field Forum will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the Master Plan Forum, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., at Greenwich High School’s Choral Room, 10 Hillside Rd.

GPS’ project manager
KG+D Architects and District administrators will present a status update on the Cardinal Field and Master Plan projects and provide an opportunity for community engagement.

Cardinal Field: On Feb. 22, the Board of Education approved the continuation of the Cardinal Field Improvement Project – “Feasibility Study Option B”- to the Site Design Phase. At this early stage of site design, the architect and District administrators are interested in community feedback prior to the development of the specific plans.

Master Plan: GPS will share the final master plan proposed by the District’s consultant KG+D Architects after a year-long comprehensive assessment of school facilities. Community feedback is encouraged as District administration, the Board of Education and other Town bodies work to prioritize the facilities needs and vision for the future of our public school buildings.
