The Greenwich Police Department will host its annual Police Day Open House on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to all residents and families.
A fun filled day of educational and exploration awaits with a variety of activities including the opportunity to take a guided tour of the station, explore many types of police cars, trucks and equipment with the officers, meet and greet officers and to create a Thank you card to post and share with them. There will also be a Flag demonstration with the Police Explorers, Cub Scouts and the Police Honor guard, a Bouncy castle for children and free hot dogs.
The event will be held rain or shine, at the downtown central Headquarters, 11 Bruce Pl.
